Ten Golden Tips for Dating Indian Girls !

June 25th, 2009

Men are often clueless about what is it that attracts a woman to a Man and often declare them as difficult to understand, complicated and indecisive. The fact is women are much simpler of the specie and often while dating girls men do not know what it is that will strike off that perfect beginning. Here are a few tips that will allow some Indian men to be a likable personality while dating women of their dreams.

It is fairly easy to know someone and be an acquaintance; however it is as much difficult if you would like to know the lady more and ask her out for a date. Do not fall prey to the tips from the western land as not too many Indian women would like what they may suggest. The following tips are more generic in nature and are effective for creating that positive personality.

Do not keep your women waiting

It is rather rude to keep your women waiting for you at a pre decided location or at a place you committed to pick her up from. Always ensure you are 5 minutes before the scheduled time. In case the woman is running late be patient and hold on for 15 minutes before giving a call to check where she has reached. Understand that women have all the reasons in the world and right to be late for a date.

Look Good and Smell Nice

Nothing is a bigger turnoff than a smelly and unhygienic body. Preparing for the date in advance is much more important and proper planning should be done with regards to your appearance. Make sure the clothes you wear are just right for the occasion and suit your personality. Do not attempt to wear what you don’t like as comfort wear is the best wear. Proper care should be taken for hair and clothes. Shave for your date if you are not sporting a beard or moustache. Do not forget to put on the best fragrances you have however keep it low and subtle.

Talk Less – Listen More – Strike a conversation

Usually men expect women to keep talking continuously and tell them everything there is to know. Just listening will not work and it is important there is a conversation between the man and the woman. Although some women like to talk more, avoid giving that opportunity and just be a listener the entire evening. Keep balance between how you make your ears and mouth work.

Be Mysterious

It is always suggested to keep your self under wraps when on your first date. Do not open up yourself like an open book and disclose everything about yourself. Let there be a mystery element for your women to discover about you.

Pamper with a small gift

It is an excellent idea to pamper women with a small gift on your date. The gift need not be expensive and costly at all. It can be something as simple as a bouquet of beautiful flowers or something the women would cherish for a long time on her desk.

Stop eyeing her body parts

It’s a strict NO NO NO. Men always assume that ultimately things will lead to sex and that is where the eyeing of body parts begins. When talking to a woman make it a point to look in to her eyes and talk. This will help you to distract your self from the low necks.

Give Genuine Compliments

Women like it when they are complimented, however beware as they can easily make out when it’s not genuine. Compliment need not be only for her looks but can be for her appearance, her charm, her dress, her hair etc.

Choose the right place

The right mood and the right place can work wonders for that perfect experience. Always make it a point to ask your lady what place she would like to go. Chances are she will put the ball back into your court. Try understanding what kind of places she visits often that makes her feel happy.

Do not talk about her past relationships

Conversations at times lead to discussion not required on your first date. Past relationships is a favorite one to spoil that perfect mood you could have created in past 1 hour. Avoid asking questions about her past life. Rather talk more about what she expects from life, her ambitions and aspirations.

Don’t build up hopes

Remember women are more emotional as compared to men and often their expectations may disappoint you. In case you don’t find compatibility never commit the women that you will call back. Rather you can stay as friends after clarifying that it may not work between both of you but you would surely like to be in touch with her.

All said and done, just make sure you are yourself !

Things to consider when buying a Used Car

June 21st, 2009

Gone are the days when the working middle class in India travelled by buses and trains. Today every individual wishes for a two or a four wheeler to ride and drive their dreams. However the fact remains that the fancy machine is still beyond the reach of more than 60 percent of the households in the country. The automobile companies have done everything they could have in the recent time to help people release their dreams for a personal vehicle. Every offer on Car Loans, Automobile loans and personal loans are made available with the option of easy EMI payments.

Generally self employed people would prefer to out rightly buy the vehicle but salaried individual still prefer to buy on installment basis or out rightly buy a second hand vehicle.

It is said your first car is like your first love and if you are planning to buy a used car there are few things you should keep in mind before paying that last penny to the seller.

To ensure you have the best buy check the following things :

1. Chassis – Do not forget to check the part beneath the chassis for any kind of oil leakage and cracks. Usually the cracks may be a result of a major hit on the front due to an accident. If you find a crack you know that car has been into an accident before and the chances of you incurring more expenses post you buying it are greater.

2. Interiors – Always check on the interiors of the car. Ensure if you have the opportunity to check beneath the seats that the metal is not rusted. This usually happens in case of used cars older than 8 – 10 years including usage during monsoon.

3. Engine – Engine is the most critical component you should evaluate with the help of a reliable mechanic. It is important the engine does not make any kind of noises as usually it will make you incur expenses on parts and other repairs. To check this you can have a test drive usually in a lane without vehicles and too much noise.

4. Car body – In case of accidents, some people are smart enough to cover the dents with second layer or coloring. The best way to find out if a job is conducted on a vehicle it to go around the vehicle and check on the edges of the car body especially at the rear end.

The most important thing to do is to ensure the papers of the vehicle are in place including the Registration, PUC, vehicle Insurance and other relevant documents paid for by the owner throughout the ownership of the car.

Do Free Indian Classifieds websites work for your business?

November 17th, 2008

Try it, test it and evaluate it. If you are amongst the thousands who own business and are in constant search for promoting it online without paying a penny on google ads or banners on websites to pull traffic, its time you evaluate the option of posting your business on the classifieds website.

These sites are absolutely free and allow you to benefit from the traffic they manage to pull by spending their own money. But make sure you follow certain basic steps while posting your classifieds.

Let’s assume you do not know what will work to your advantage and what websites to post your classifieds on. Thank google and hit the keyword “Free Indian Classifieds”. List of free classified websites will pop-up and you have a list to choose from.

To make it simpler for you, here is a list of Indian classified sites worth spending your time and posting your classifieds on

Pick 10 sites out of the list and start posting. Basic rules to follow to ensure you get the expected response from the sites -

1. Title
– Nothing attracts Google, other search engines and internet surfers as much as a good title. When posting a classified make sure the title you enter is relevant, detailed and attractive. The keywords are entered in the title.

E.g. In case your business is Guitar classes in Andheri (west)

“Music classes – Learn Playing Guitar in Andheri (West)”

2. Contact Details – Always make sure you offer people to contact you through various means. Enter detailed contact details with address, email, phone number and website URL.

3. Content – Posting a classified without informing the user about the details will waste time for yourself as well as others. Make sure you detail what are you offering, Where, how and when. If required mention details of the products if you selling one and some background about yourself if you are a professional offering services.

4. Pictures –
Pictures work where text doesn’t. People get attracted to pictures and photos. Pictures of your products will visually inform your prospective buyers about your products and services. In cases where you have something more to offer don’t hesitate to add it to your classifeds.

E.g. – In case you are a web designer – post a print screen of your work.

5. Google Maps - Google introduced this feature a while back and some websites are quick to adapt to it. Google maps work to your advantage and using this may be time consuming but is worth every second spent. People will know exactly where you are based and works especially if it’s a locality know to them.

6. Post in the correct sections
– If after doing all this you still don’t have the expected response do check where is your ad posted. Ensuring your classified is in the right city and category will help people to find you. This means more accurate search and more business.

One advice to all who would like to benefit from the services of these free sites. Do not spam the sites. Most of them may be against spamming and may ban you for spamming.
Keep it clean and spam free. If need be use multiple titles and limit your posts to 10 that too posting at multiple intervals. Renew your ads when you have a renew notification and keep capitalizing those enquiries.

TO “E” Or Not to “E”

November 16th, 2008

The great man once remarked “TO be or not to be” never did he imagine the thought will cross minds of young budding entrepreneurs more than anyone else. 99.99 % of MBA’s who are trained to be global managers today are no different when it comes to choosing what they want to do in life after completing their masters.

A well paid job, incentives, amenities and yes lot of fame. But given a deeper thought no one wants to think beyond what is usual and dare what their heart says… We know the remaining 00.01 % who dared to dream different and surely, not that they are millionaires today but are doing well with their ventures.

E in this article stands for Enterprise and it is this spirit that is killed every moment. True reasons no one knows but fear dominates them all.Fear of failures, fear of the unknown and fear to try something different is what kills this spirit to Enterprise. It is not a lesser known fact that there are entrepreneurs everywhere, from a small shop owner to an exporter but guess what not even10 % would be management students.

So what is it that drives to take the risk and go that extra mile? Not money for sure cause not every venture can be a google.com into making. It is pure passion and smart work that helps! People often plan out early and late comers are most welcome in the game.
It all begins with an idea or a simple concept. An idea that may be new and innovative or a repeated one. Put this all together you have a killer business idea to work on.

However let’s analyze what is it that the entrepreneurs need to do to ensure achieving the planned growth through 7 essential qualities of an entrepreneur.

1. Inner Drive to Succeed
Entrepreneurs are driven to succeed and expand their business. They see the bigger picture and are often very ambitious. Entrepreneurs set massive goals for themselves and stay committed to achieving them regardless of the obstacles that get in the way.
Being self motivated and dedicated to the project takes them a long way.

2. Strong Belief in themselves
Successful entrepreneurs have a healthy opinion of themselves and often have a strong and assertive personality. They are focused and determined to achieve their goals and believe completely in their ability to achieve them. Their self optimism can often been seen by others as flamboyance or arrogance but entrepreneurs are just too focused to spend too much time thinking about un-constructive criticism. At times they may want to be autocratic and do what they believe in against the world.

3. Search for New Ideas and Innovation
All entrepreneurs have a passionate desire to do things better and to improve their products or service. They are constantly looking for ways to improve. They’re creative, innovative and resourceful. The ideas and the concepts may be old but the trick is to treat it differently and make it a new product altogether.

4. Openness to Change
If something is not working for them they simply change. Entrepreneurs know the importance of keeping on top of their industry and the only way to being number one is to evolve and change with the times. Change is permanent and change for good is necessary.

5. Competitive by Nature
Successful entrepreneurs thrive on competition and spirit to fight back.
The only way to reach their goals and live up to their self imposed high standards is to compete with other successful businesses and with oneself.

6. Highly Motivated and Energetic
Entrepreneurs are always on the move, full of energy and highly motivated. They are driven to succeed and have an abundance of self motivation. The high standards and ambition of many entrepreneurs demand that they have to be motivated!

7. Accepting of Constructive Criticism and Rejection
Innovative entrepreneurs are often at the forefront of their industry so they hear the words “it can’t be done” quite a bit. They readjust their path if the criticism is constructive and useful to their overall plan, otherwise they will simply disregard the comments as pessimism. Also, the best entrepreneurs know that rejection and
